In the year after his return to India in December of 2009, out of personal interest he attended an executive management program – ‘Management Program for Entrepreneurs and Family Businesses’ at Indian Institute of Management – Bangalore, where he concentrated on: Corporate Finance, Statistical Analysis, Strategy and Human Resources Management.
Thereafter, to hone is skill in Corporate Finance he attended an ‘Advance Corporate Finance’ course at the Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad. Where he dealt with: Valuation, Interest Rate and Forex Hedging, Capital Structure, Exchange Rate Parities, PE and VC Investments.
In 2008, he stepped down as Software Architect at Infosys, playing a role at ABN AMRO later taken over by RBS. During his stint in Amsterdam, Netherlands he gained plenty of experience in dealing with a wide range of people from different cultures and nationalities.
Before his move to Amsterdam, The Netherlands, during his stay in Prague, The Czech Republic for over 7 years, he has worked for DHL through Infosys, as a Programmer Analyst, where he helped in developing and designing components of their logistics software.
He has a Dual Masters’ in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, from the United States. He also did an internship in Chicago before his move to Europe.
What Mr. Uday S Prakash brings to the table is his international experience for over 10 years and his inherent understanding of the Indian context. He is able to draw upon his Information Technology knowledge and his contextual knowledge to help take our organization in the right direction.
